Do you want to spend less and save more?

Well, here’s an idea!

What if between Halloween and Christmas (that’s less than two months!), you stopped spending money on yourself? Of course, you’ll probably need to buy food, fuel, and some other basic necessities. But, what if you left it at that and for the next two months didn’t buy anything you don’t need?

The holidays are a more expensive time of year for many of us already, as we buy gifts for others. So, let’s up the ante and not spend any money on ourselves until after the holidays. This might just make you an even more gracious receiver come December 25th!

Bonus: If you’re up for the challenge, keep a little note of everything you didn’t buy for yourself over this two month period. At the end of the year, look back over your list. Do you really miss anything you kept yourself from impulse buying?

Maybe spending less year-round will become even easier!

What do you think? Who’s up for a challenge? Let me know how it goes, and Happy Halloween!
